Boston, MA: Requiem: Saturday, Dec 21st GotM

December 21, 2013 in Game Announcements, Requiem

From even the greatest of horrors irony is seldom absent.”
-HP Lovecraft

The snow is falling, and so are the temperatures.  The holidays are here and Christmas is but days away.  And so, the Prince of Boston, Claudia Malvé of the Invictus, has put out an invitation to the region.  A formal occasion and Formal court at the Ames-Webster Mansion.  But events in November have made their presence felt.

Belial’s Brood related sightings, break-ins at historical sites and museums, and odd graffiti mark the city since November and now into December.  But more than that.  A familiar face has returned to the area, but not the City.  Alder Joshua Bradley, Duke of Boston and former and exiled former Prince is now living somewhere outside the city, a fact he makes no secret of.  Is his banishment still the law now that Praxis has shifted?

The Night before game, an email goes out to those around the city and beyond, to those Kindred who would receive it.  It came from no email address, contained no IP address.  It contains a single audio file, broken and static ridden.”No…. gh time….. Help….. They ….ing.”

“Lead me between you in the night, old friends,
one living and one dead, and where the journey ends
show me the city built as on a hill”
-Night Watch in the city of Boston

Boston, Ma: Accord: Saturday, Dec 21st GotM

December 21, 2013 in Accord, Game Announcements

The Third Lantern has had success recently in keeping those who serve the Truth at bay.  The walls of reality in Boston have remained strong, and since the events which took place during the failed visitation of the Church of Universal Truth’s pontiff, other guardians have emerged to aid the Accord.

Now the solstice approaches and the pale sun hangs low in the sky.  Those same protectors that helped the Boston Cell have been mysteriously absent.  In that void, the Spirit Courts have fallen as silent as the snowfall in winter.

And somewhere in the city the last remaining pieces of a Plan fall into place…

Announcements:

Game starts at 7pm!

Cathedral Church of Saint Paul (138 Tremont Street, Boston, MA 02111

Site fee only 5 bucks!

Rutland, VT: Forsaken: Friday, Dec 20st

December 19, 2013 in Forsaken, Game Announcements

We have a number of things facing us, none the least of which involve who the duguthilim were and why they are causing us problems lately.  Maybe they are just irritated jackasses who need to get banished back to the Hisil.  We got a bone and a gun, but I ain`t holding my breath on any forth coming clues just yet.

We have territory to lay claim to and still need to check out that Loci up in Brunswick.  Yeah, it may be a little out of our way, but a resource not in the Pure`s hands is fine by me.  We will probably have to speak with the Conseil, but I think it is worth it to check into.

Last, we have some low lifes creeping around the scum of the population.  This Schmidt guy is dirty and has an agenda for capping folks.  I don`t know if it`s drugs or if he is playing a grey hat, but he`s going to either have to be removed or handled.  Something ain`t adding up, but I guarantee that it is fishier than Koto`s sushi bar.

Meet up at the Pit and we can get rolling on this.  If Momma Luna drops a dime on me, you all will be the first to know.

Providence, RI: Accord: Sunday, Dec 8th IRC

December 4, 2013 in Accord, Game Announcements, IRC

———————————————————–

12/02/13 Providence Journal

Mental Health Meet And Greet will be held at Butler Hospital Dining room on December 8th at 8pm.  Dr. Bradley Alexander will present his research on group art therapy, along with a display of patient-created artwork.

Dr. Alexander graduated from University of Rhode Island with his PhD in 1999.  He has worked for Butler Hospital since he was an Undergraduate student.

———————————————————

12/02/13 Medical and Academic Community Info (if your PC is a medical or psychiatric doctor, a health researcher, biologist, veterinarian, or professor of any research science)
Dr. Katrina Alexander was committed to Butler Hospital six weeks ago after being caught stalking someone at Miriam Hospital.  Investigation at her veterinary hospital found animals boarding at her facility which weren’t treated.  Her veterinary assistant, URI Biology Student Cindy Ross, called the RI ASPCA to report the state of affairs at the Edgewood-based Alexander Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Alexander’s practice has been closed, and all her former patients have been referred to Moon Animal Hospital in North Kingstown.

According to Cindy, Dr. Alexander was trying out some music therapy for animals recovering from traumatic injuries and surgeries.  She had consulted with a music teacher on the East Side to obtain some locally-based recordings of Tchaikovsky.
———————————————————

12/01/13 Occult Community Info (if your PC has appropriate Allies or Contacts, or is a Psychic, Mage, Proximus, or Demon, or PCs who’ve had dealings with the Mage Concilium in Rhode Island)

Henrietta Henry has been out on bail, but she’s been taking clients secretly against legal advice.  Word is, she’s got some people who she was in the middle of helping, and she refuses to leave them in the lurch.

Rumor has it that she’s not getting in trouble for these activities, because somehow the comings and goings of her clients has been occluded in some way.  It’s also been said she’s refusing all payment from them.

——————————————————————-
12/02/13 Things to do in Providence When You’re Dead (for PCs who have died or are undead in some way, including Sin-Eaters, Vampires, Purified, Mummies and PCs with Ghost familiars or the Medium Merit.)

The ghosts of Providence have been on some kind of high-octane kick for over a month now.  Most of them have no idea why, or even that they’re more powerful than they were before.

Rumors tell of a Woman Who Waits that might have some answers, unfortunately she doesn’t exist on this plane.  All anyone seems to know is that she’s next to a gate by a river, and has been known to give advice to denizens of the Underworld.

And then, since the highly publicized suicide of Malachi Adair, there’s been trouble from the Lady In White.  Ghosts are afraid of her, and she used to be hanging around on the East Side, but she’s been hanging around in Cranston very recently, causing concern amongst ghosts from Edgewood to Auburn.
